What does love mean to me? My mother named me after the Bionic Woman, Jaime Sommers. She also told me in French, J’aime, means gift of love or ‘I love you.’ My namesake reveals my Supernatural Power.

According to a fun Facebook app, Nametests[1], Jaime means completely independent. Based on their digitized insight I love my family. I rebuke cheats and fakery. On the gentle side, I give and give and give. On the dark side, I bottle up my anger before I explode. My secret is that I say I’m “fine” even when I’m hurting. This translation offers others around me to not fear my brutal honesty, fear my silence. I have the heart of gold, but if you betray my trust – run! There’s some accuracy in this interpretation. When I reflect on it, it’s revealed to me that even a name that means love can have barriers to it like anger, hurt, and silence.

We’re going to move through a lot of anger, hurt, and silence throughout this journey to combat the wicked. Yet keep an open mind, that to get through it, to get to the other side, to live out purpose and have true meaning, love is the antidote. This endless supply of energetic medicine comes from spiritual love. A love that surpasses all understanding. Loving the un-loveable. Forgiving the un-forgivable. Releasing anger. That’s not necessarily keeping silence. It does require having awkward conversations. Hopefully with respectable boundaries and amongst trusted confidants.

What I’ve learned on my journey is that I get blocked by anger. It used to be sadness that got in my way and I’m happy to share more with you on this in the future, so you might heal too. And regardless of whether it’s anger, sadness or some other non-serving act or feeling, the antidote is love. I hope you trust in this process just enough, with a mustard seed of faith that any pain or despair you’re having right now is resolved with my Supernatural Power, Love.
